Cookie Policy

Last updated: March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Triplenso uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies when you visit our platform. We believe in transparency about what data is stored on your device.

What Are Cookies & Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies that allow websites to store data on your device. Together, these technologies help remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you interact with our platform.

Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the platform to function. Authentication cookies (HttpOnly): Secure tokens that keep you logged in and verify your identity with each request. These are protected with the HttpOnly flag, meaning they cannot be accessed by JavaScript, preventing cross-site scripting attacks. They are cleared upon logout. Locale cookie ("locale"): Stores your language preference (English or Arabic) for up to 1 year so we remember your choice across visits.

Local Storage

We use browser local storage to persist your preferences across sessions. This data stays on your device until you clear your browser cache. Specifically: "triplenso-lang" stores your language preference as a backup to the locale cookie; and your dark/light theme preference is stored to apply your chosen theme when you return.

Session Storage

We use browser session storage to temporarily store user profile information during your active session. Session storage is automatically cleared when you close your browser and is never sent to our servers. This data exists only locally on your device during your browsing session.

Third-Party Cookies

When you use Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, those services may set their own cookies for authentication purposes. We do not control these cookies. Google and Apple's cookie and privacy policies apply to their respective services. We recommend reviewing their policies at policies.google.com/privacy and apple.com/privacy.

Analytics

Triplenso does not currently use third-party analytics services that set cookies (such as Google Analytics). We rely on server-side analytics that do not store data on your device. If we implement cookie-based analytics in the future, we will update this policy and obtain your consent where required by law.

Managing Your Preferences

You can control cookies and storage through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: view cookies set by websites; block cookies from specific sites; delete all cookies; and enable Do Not Track mode. To clear local and session storage, use your browser's "Clear browsing data" option or developer tools (F12 > Application > Storage). Common browser settings: Chrome (chrome://settings/cookies), Firefox (about:preferences#privacy), Safari (Preferences > Privacy), Edge (Settings > Privacy).

Impact of Disabling Cookies

If you disable cookies, you may not be able to: log in to your account; see content in your preferred language; or use most interactive features. Essential cookies are required for the platform to function properly.
